Usually within a few days, sometimes the same week. If we're already booked that weekend, that's the whole reply — we won't try to talk you into a Friday.
- We talk properly
About an hour, on the phone or at the studio. This is where we go through the season, the venue, and what your budget genuinely buys in your month.
- You get a proposal
Itemised, with quantities and stem counts, and a real number at the bottom. Nothing is due until you've read it and said yes.

Closed Sunday and Monday — wedding days and recovery. Saturdays in May, June, September and October we are almost always at a venue, not the studio.

Six things worth knowing first.
How far ahead do you book?
Nine to fourteen months for a Saturday in May, June, September or October. Winter and midweek dates are often open inside six months.
What's your minimum?
$1,800 for a peak-season Saturday. No minimum midweek or in winter. Elopements are welcome and we do a handful every year.
Do you do elopements?
Yes. Usually a bouquet, a boutonnière and something small for wherever you're standing. Two weeks' notice is often enough.
Can we meet before booking?
Always. An hour at the studio or on the phone, before any money changes hands. Bring pictures, including the ones you don't like.
Do you deliver outside Asheville?
Within about ninety minutes — Black Mountain, Marshall, Burnsville, Brevard, Cashiers, Andrews. Mileage is itemised on the proposal.
What if we need to change the date?
Your retainer moves with you once, to any date we have free. If we're booked on the new date we'll say so and refund the difference on anything we haven't bought.
